One of my very first attractions to food photography was geometry. For one reason or another, I am drawn to lines, shapes and symmetry whether it be in life or just the compositions I make with my camera. When I first started out, I was fixated on incorporating lines and patterns into my photography. Maybe too much and even though I have dialed my addiction to geometric compositions back a bit, I still can't help sneaking in a few hints, here or there.
Food Photography of The Day
For the next five weeks, I'll be dedicating almost every waking moment to creating a new drink and beverage portfolio. My shot list looks really fun and hopefully I'll have a few new tutorials for you too! Yay! Then I'll be off to sunny California to put the finishing touches on my new studio. After my stay in the northwest I'm sure I'm in need of some sun.
