I took this photo as a part of our review of the Fujifilm XF 18-35mm f/2.8 Zoom Lens and I thought it was so delicious that we needed to post this Apricot and Banana Smoothie Recipe. Smoothies are a big part of our family as it is the one sure way to know that our daughter gets the fruits and vitamins she needs, we love them as well. Often times it’s hard to find juice that is not packed full of sugar and other weird unpronounceable stuff, so smoothies are our go to staple. We love them to, and as we live in Muscat, we thought these locally grown apricots would be a real winner.
Apricot and Banana Smoothie Recipe
Amount of ingredients really depends on how many you want to make, I usually don’t count specific numbers of fruit, so just throw it all in and sort it out later. I’m sure we don’t need to tell most of you how to make Apricot and Banana Smoothie Recipe. Also, if you don’t have any vanilla pods, try vanilla yogurt. I first used this really great Carrefour vanilla yogurt, (insert the whole of France laughing in unison). It’s a good yogurt, what can this American say, it even comes in these really great glass jars, which I poured the apricot and banana smoothies in for the photo above.
If your interested in food photography for your blog or whatever, the Fujifilm X-E1 that we used to capture this photograph is a great camera to start making those pictures with. Paired with the XF 18-55 f/2.8 Lens and you got yourself a sweet little kit. I’ve fallen in love with it as the system is so multifunctional and inexpensive. Have a look at our reviews to see what we have to say about it and other gear for food photography.
