Layer Masks Photoshop Tutorial: Need More Props? No Problem!

I picked up some new paint and varnish for some of our table tops today. After clearing out the house and almost passing out myself, both dried just in time for my roasted artichokes to come out of the oven.  Artichokes are outrageously expensive here, but when you can get them they are so delicious.  There is no real recipe here, just wrap them each in some foil with a wedge of lemon, garlic and some olive oil, then bake for about an 90 minutes.  On a side note, we just created a flickr account, I never really had one before an I thought it was going out of fashion. After hearing the CEO’s great speech (haha) and seeing a few friends on there, we thought we’d give it a go. We like the new interface, and how the pictures display.  Check out our Photostream here!

UPDATE: PHOTOSHOP TUTORIAL

The two images above were lit, styled and composed great, but they did end up needing a little touch of Photoshop’s magical powers. Hey it happens to the best of us.  So what did we do? You guessed it. We created a tutorial about it, just for you!  Our internet is connected by two tin cans and some string, so we had to break it up into two parts, but we discussed the whole process from camera to the end result. Is there a tutorial you would like to see? Let us know and we might be able to create it. For now enjoy our Part 1 and Part 2 of what I titled “Not Enough Lemons”
