Ramadan 2017: Sweets To Break Fast For My Friends In Oman

To some of you who may not know, Heather and I spent the last 8 years living in the wonderful country of The Sultanate Of Oman. Oman is situated on the tip of the Arab peninsula and being a Muslim country sometime in the next couple of days will start Ramadan.

Ramadan Sweets Dates Pomegranates and Pistachios Food Photography We Eat Together

The holy month of Ramadan is a month for fasting. The fast is broken each evening, usually with delicious sweet dates and other light snacks. In 5 years this will be the first year I will be in the USA during Ramadan, so I offer up this image of sweets, dates, pomegranates and pistachios to my friends back in Oman. I hope you have a wonderful Ramadan with friends and family.
